The McCracken County PVA office is in need of a taxpayer assistant.
On a normal day a taxpayer assistant will speak to taxpayers in-person, via telephone or email about a variety of topics such as vehicle, real estate taxes or personal property tax returns. Training is provided on each topic. Speaking to taxpayers in a professional and respectful manner is an important part of the job.
Taxpayer assistants must be computer literate and trainable to use new programs and procedures.

- This position is initially part time starting July 16, 2024, 3 days per week, 8am to 4:30pm with promotion to full time (5 days a week) on October 1, 2024
- Full time benefits (vacation, sick days and retirement plan) are included when employee goes to full time
- Pay for qualified applicants starts at $17.12 per hour
